Easter 2026: Bassetlaw Easter Hunt 🐣

1. Competition Overview

The Easter Hunt competition is organised by The Driving Instructor (TDI).
Participants are invited to search for TDI Easter Hunt items hidden across the Bassetlaw area. Each item is identical and contains instructions for entry into the grand prize draw.

Participants may find one item per person or household only. Once the hunt has concluded, all valid entries will be placed into a live Facebook draw to determine the winner.

2. Eligibility

To enter the competition, participants must:

Be aged 17 or over, or turning 17 within 3 months of the live draw
Be legally eligible to learn to drive in the UK
Hold a valid UK provisional driving licence at the time of entry
Live within the Bassetlaw area, or within a reasonable distance of a local DVSA test centre used by TDI
Be happy to have the lessons recorded for potential social media release.

Additional requirements for the winner:

The winner must hold a valid Theory Test pass certificate at the time of winning or obtain one within 2 months of the live draw
Lessons must be started within 3 months of winning the prize
The competition is not open to current pupils of The Driving Instructor at the time of entry

TDI reserves the right to determine whether a participant’s location is suitable for lesson provision.

3. How to Participate

Participants must locate a TDI Easter Hunt item using the clues provided
Upon finding an item, participants must follow the instructions inside to submit their entry correctly
Only one entry per person or household is permitted
Any duplicate, incomplete, or incorrect entries may be disqualified

Once all hunt items have been found, or once 7 days have passed from the competition launch (whichever comes first), a live random draw will be held on The Driving Instructor’s Facebook page.

4. Grand Prize “Free Lessons Until You Pass”

The grand prize consists of:

Free standard driving lessons with The Driving Instructor until the winner passes their practical driving test*

Important prize conditions:

Lessons are subject to instructor availability
Lessons must be taken regularly and at a reasonable frequency, as agreed with the instructor
The winner must actively engage with training and follow professional guidance
Missed or late-cancelled lessons may be forfeited
The prize covers lesson time only
(theory tests, practical test fees, retests, medicals, or third-party costs are not included)
The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available

*“Until you pass” applies while the learner remains actively learning, progressing, and cooperating with instruction.

Failure to meet these conditions may result in the prize being withdrawn.

5. Fair Use & Conduct

Any participant found tampering with hunt items, removing multiple items, or interfering with other participants will be disqualified
TDI reserves the right to disqualify anyone suspected of unfair or dishonest behaviour
The organiser’s decision is final

6. Promotion & Media

By entering the competition, participants agree:

That their name, image, and/or social media content may be used for promotional purposes by The Driving Instructor
That the live draw will be publicly broadcast on Facebook

7. General

The Driving Instructor reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if required due to circumstances beyond reasonable control
These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law
Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
